Each new business requires a business plan. A business plan is a living document that requires regular updates throughout the life cycle of your business. This is true even if you are established and creating only a minor or peripheral business intended to vertically integrate into your portfolio of businesses. A business plan stands tall as your blueprint, backed by research, of the how, what, when, where & why of your business development. If your new business idea requires investment capital, a solid business plan will greatly aid in your ability to connect with and obtain equity / debt financing from financial institutions, angel investors, and/or venture capitalists. As distinct members in the modern business community we have the ability to source solutions in all of the previously mentioned areas.
After your business is off the ground your planning will shift from the start-up phase toward that of corporate-developmental project management, using Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to more efficiently achieve hitting your targets on time, within budget, while meeting multiple peripheral and respective goals.
Reviewing the business plan means reviewing the progress on business goals and targets and setting new ones. This should take place at the corporate level at least once a month and the business plan amended accordingly. A business plan overhaul should occur once a year in order to guarantee that your company’s growth trajectory is going in the intended rate and direction. We are here to help with all of the above and more!
